Looking for a sitter for an elderly cat

Winston, or Mr Moo as he's affectionately known, is a nearly 19yo black fluffy cat who has his health issues. He has potential heart disease which causes fluid on the lungs which makes him cough which he has meds for. He also has stage2 kidney disease but this is not causing him any grief. He has arthritis (don't we all??) so has a monthly injection at the vet, but this will be done before we go. He is also quite deaf so has a very loud meow/yowl. He loves to announce loudly when he's had a wee :-) He absolutely adores affection, loves his pats, cuddles and brushing and purrs loudly. He doesn't sit on your lap as he doesn't seem to know what it's for, same with the bed. We only adopted him last year so don't know his history. He sleeps 99% of the day in his bed on the lounge chair and has steps to reach it. He's a beautiful old boy but will still let you know if he doesn't like something

We have a 3br + study, 2 living room, 2 bathroom semi French Provincial styled home which is at the end of a pretty quiet court. We have a smallish back yard with gardens and a small front yard. There is a covered patio out the back with outdoor furniture (no bbq). The master has a small walk-in-robe and ensuite and is at the back of the house so you don't get road noise. There is a double garage which is connected to the house through the laundry into the kitchen. There is a large top loader washing machine in the laundry and a dryer in the garage plus a clothes line out back. We have a freezer in the laundry as well.

There are security screens on the four external doors.

We have an open plan kitchen/dining/family room, which is where we basically live. The front living room is more for decoration. There is ducted heating and a reverse cycle in the master bedroom and the main living area.

We no longer have Foxtel but we have a few other streaming services and Wifi throughout the house. Read more...
