Whitlam, Australian Capital Territory

About this house sitting position in Whitlam

Georgie is a healthy, mature inside cat who is very affectionate and loves company. She isn't a fussy eater and is very easy to look after.

This house sit would ideally suit a retired person/couple or someone able to work from home at least occasionally. Georgie really does like having people around!

The house is 12 months old and the gardens are finished. The plants are small and we have several pots but no lawn. The garden itself is heavily mulched so should be fine without rain or water for up to a week in mild weather. If the maximum daily temperatures are high, then some hand-watering with a hose might be necessary. The pots will need watering every few days depending upon the temperature.

We are centrally located in Whitlam, about 10 minutes drive from Belconnen Town Centre and Cooleman Court, 15 minutes drive from Woden and Canberra City. We are 5 minutes drive from Denman Prospect which has a gym, supermarket, coffee shop and tavern. We are 5 minutes walk from the Molonglo River Reserve where we walk every morning.

While there is a bus service nearby, the location is probably better suited to someone with their own transport.
