About this house sitting position in Wilmot
This is a request for a lover of kitties to look after our furbabies while we are away.
Our home is in the hills near the famous Cradle Mountain in North West Tasmania.
We have 20 acres of mostly natural bush with some springs and there are beautiful views down a valley and hills one way and views of the majestic Mt. Roland the other.
We are approx. 30 minutes to Sheffield, the mural town. 40 minutes to Cradle Mountain, 30 minutes to Ulverstone, shopping, and 45 minutes to Devonport where the Spirit of Tasmania docks in also good for shopping.
Lots of wildlife, especially at night and great for animal spotting by torchlight.
The house has 5 bedrooms , 3 bedrooms upstairs, the master with ensuite and downstairs are 2 bedrooms ,both of these are ensuited. These 2 rooms are let out as B & B rooms during the tourist season but we will close off the business while we are away so our sitters won't have to worry about that.
A cosy fireplace to sit by downstairs or an air con upstairs that warms or cools all bedrooms and upstairs lounge.
We are off to New Zealand
so our request is for someone special that wouldn't mind looking after Frankie who is our 6 year old Himalayan kitty and Horace who was a stray who asked us if he could live here too. He is about 3 years old and super friendly.
We therefore would love to hear from someone,preferably, who would probably already be coming to Tassie or just wishes to come for a great North western Tasmanian experience.
We have electric blankets on all beds plus two cats that love to sleep on the end of the bed that also help. We have snow jackets etc here if you need those up at Cradle Mountain area.
We can also leave a vehicle for you if you fly down . if you wish, we would love you to come a few days earlier to get familiar with the kitties and the house.

Oh thank you Alyson and Pekka You have been such wonderful kitty sitters . We can't thank you enough for stepping in with only 2 days notice. You have been so thoughtful with sending pics of our kitties and we hope that you enjoyed your time here in North West Tassie. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our kitty cats and our house. We came home to a beautifully clean house and happy healthy cats...I think they miss you ? what more could we ask for. We could not recommend you highly enough to anyone else needing wonderful house sitters. Hopefully you would come back again if our kitties need looking after or even just as friends .
