About this house sitting position in Witta

We have a character ‘Witta Cottage’ which is a weatherboard 2 story house that has been fully renovated and upgraded.
A well appointed guest room with a king bed, ceiling fan and aircon (heating & cooling), Wifi will be available for the house sitters and located on the 1st floor (1 flight of stairs).
We have excellent internet and stream services (Foxtel). Being located on a 1 acre rural property the house is fitted out with solar and batteries so no chance of having to deal with any power blackouts. We operate of tank water which is filtered and UV treated and house has a dedicated sewerage treatment plant (FujiClean).
We are located 10 mins outside of Maleny which has just about every service or shop you could need. The beach is about 45mins drive. There is also the Mary Valley and its many gorgeous towns (e.g. Kenilworth, Kandanga, Amarmoor) to explore.
We have 2 dogs - Wink a 9 year old female corgi and Jimmy a 6 year old cattle dog. They are best mates but love the humans who care for them. Jimmy loves to play ball and Wink loves to cheer him on. Wink loves to be an inside dog and Jimmy is very much an outside dog and will follow whom ever is outside around.
There are also 4 chickens - Courtney, Laurie, Clarice and Winnie. They are all egg producers and just love humans being part of the daily life. The chickens have their coop for hight time, a chicken run whenever their humans are not at home and a pen that they can free range in. Plenty of eggs (usually 4 a day) to collect and consume.
We have fantastic bird life around and encourage them to visit us by feeding them wild bird feed. It is not uncommon to see King Parrots, Cockatoos, Galahs, Lorikeets just to name a few. There can also be a family of wild ducks who like to visit.
There is a productive veggie patch to enjoy what it produces.
We are keen to find a non-smoking retired couple who will love our little bit of tranquility just like we do, care for our beloved animals and happy to mow the lawns (ride on mower) as needed.
