About this house sitting position in Wonthaggi
Hi. We live in a newly built, light and well insulated house with an east facing deck. Both levels have open views of the large garden. It's only a 2 minute walk to the centre of town and a 7 minute drive to the nearest beach. Nearby walking tracks include the Wonthaggi Wetlands, The Rail Trail and stunning George Bass Coastal Walk. Our 10 year old rescue dog Kimba is a sweet, friendly and gentle whippet /staghound cross. Our chooks can stay in their coup for most or all of the day and will just need food and water top ups. You'll be spoilt for choice with the excellent cafes and eating spots in the area.

“Leanne and Rob made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home in Wonthaggi, and were very generous with a well stocked kitchen and local produce.
Kimba the dog was a gentle and loyal companion, and we enjoyed many walks and adventures together. The chooks were lively and full of character, and lay lots of eggs during our stay. We also met many kind neighbours who dropped by and said hello. The location gave us excellent access to town amenities, local biking paths, and the surrounding attractions of South Gippsland. This a wonderful stay and we loved our experience. ”
