About this house sitting position in Woodcroft

We will be heading on a short overseas holiday for a week and are looking for some help to look after our house and dogs while we're away.

Our house is a 3 bedroom free standing home located on a quiet street in Woodcroft, with plenty of shops within a short drive (or even a walk if you don't mind walking back up the hill). We have great internet for WFH and plenty of space for you to stretch out. Tangari national park is a 10 min walk away, allowing for some great walks on the upcoming autumn days. Both Marion and Colonnades shopping centres are also only 10 minutes away.

The main priority while we're away would be caring for our 2 dogs (Pepper and Truman), who are both under two years old. They are both incredibly friendly, but they are both rescues and are very cautious around new people (though not aggressive or defensive). So this job would best suit someone (or a couple) who's willing to be patient and work with them over time to gradually build up trust (then they'll never leave your side). The dogs are used to usually having someone around as we both work from home. So to avoid any drastic changes, we'd appreciate someone who could be around more often than not (going out for a few hours is fine). Walking them is not a requirement, though they do love their walks. Note that they're both big dogs that can pull occasionally, so it can be challenging for one person to walk them on their own. We also have a dog park available that's a short drive away (we'll provide a seat protector for transport).

But otherwise, the house is yours to enjoy for the week.
