We live in a warm, modern, level home with ducted aircon, a view and 2 cats!

Housesitters would have a large bedroom and private bathroom that includes a walk-in shower and spa bath. The kitchen is modern and large with lots of bench space, a modern fridge freezer, an induction stove top and microwave. There is a new double oven.

The lounge room has a smart TV and comfortable leather chairs and a lounge. The sun room has comfortable leather lounges as well.

While there is no lawn to manage, we have a well developed garden that needs some care with watering, although an automatic irrigation system is in place that covers most of the watering needs. However, there are some pot-plants outside that need attention.

The two cats are absolutely inside cats! ie they must not be let outside under any circumstances. They will need care and attention to litter trays, water bowls and feeding. They go into the garage at night so that you will not be disturbed during the night.

We are 5 minutes from the well appointed local shopping area (both Coles & Woolworths, restaurants, banks etc) and 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Launceston. There are many wineries in the region and beaches 30 - 50 minutes away. It is a popular tourist destination well known for Cataract Gorge that sits beside the city. Read more...
