About this house sitting position in Amamoor

Is anyone out there who would like a short holiday at our slice of Paradise on 10 acres in the Mary Valley 22km south of Gympie? We are after someone to provide love and company to our shy cat Bill, his mate Simba the Orange Cat, cattle dog Roy and our precious old Quarter Horse Gunner. He will probably have his ripstop cotton rug on by then and most likely able to keep it on 24/7 but it would be nice to have someone confident around him to change his rug should he rip it or should wild storms be about be able to throw a storm sheet on him. He's pretty quiet and good to do anything with. Any dramas I have backup around us you can call on. Then of course, there are the 6 chookies who like to be let out daily, 6 guinea fowl who pretty much look after themselves.

Have some pot plants to water, but everything else should be right till we get back. Lovely house to live in with all mod cons, and views in all directions. Good internet and 4G. Very quiet and peaceful spot. Only a couple of km to Amamoor (general store and PO) and Dagun where the Mary Valley Rattler travels to a few days a week. Lots of things to see in the Mary Valley, markets, and 40 minutes to Noosaville, 15 minutes to Gympie.

Prefer no pets as Roy can be funny with other dogs and the cats are scared of strange dogs, and would hate the chookies and gf's to get eaten!.

“It was such a privilege to be entrusted with the task of caring for Harriet and Paul’s beautiful menagerie of much loved animals. Not to mention the beauty of the property, I felt completely at home. Harriet and Paul are lovely genuine country people and made me feel so welcome. Roy the Red Heeler was my constant companion always there helping with the chores around the yard. The adorable moggies Bill and Simba/Ginge usually joined in on the feeding rounds of chickens, guinea fowls and horses. It doesn’t get much better than that. I would love to be invited to sit again in the future. Thank you both!”
