I am a Quit and clean 54 yo male animal lover (I prefer animals to people lol) have a long history of pet ownership including dogs, cats, birds and reptiles and fish, I also worked in a Pet store for 5 years so have a good grasp of all aspects of pet care.

the YouTube video I added is from a recent home where I looked after 2 pugs and cleaned up an overgrown garden for the kind lady Renae who has terminal illness and was in hospital right throughout Christmas. the pugs were wonderful and I really enjoyed the birds of Mount Riverview and attending the garden. Also befriended a large diamond python that visited the property a few times and didn't mind me picking her up for a cuddle.

I am over here from Western Australia currently staying in NSW after I got caught here in 2020 during covid and was then unable to return home due to the border closures.

During which time I had some medical complications arise and the combined factors affected my business in WA (all but killed it ) and so I became stranded without limited income and forced to rely upon the disability pension and the NSW public health system with long waiting lists and extended times for treatments.

I am a nonsmoker and don't take any drugs other than some prescription medication and because of my health concerns I also do not drink any alcohol, being now 2 years totally abstinent.

At this stage, I have appointments spread out over the year at Nepean hospital, so I need to stay in NSW to see them through rather than returning home to WA and have to start from scratch with the health system and waiting periods over there.

Meanwhile, I absolutely fell in love with the blue mountains and enjoying the hiking and bushwalking, especially exploring the waterfalls throughout area.
It's a magical place and I have only seen a fraction of it.

I am currently Van shopping to find a good camper so I can be on the road exploring and camping as a grey nomad in between house and pet sitting.

I really don't know anyone in NSW at all so I have limited social activity, which means I won't have any visitors and there is definitely no concern about your sitter throwing parties in your home!

I am extremely comfortable and content in my own company and only get lonely when I don’t have an animal around to interact with and care for. When I don’t, I usually find some birds, water dragons or other animals in nature to befriend.

As a nature lover who is concerned about the human impact on the environment, I take great pride in leaving any space I am in as good as or better than when I arrived at it. I enjoy camping and I am very conscious of not leaving any kind of negative footprint.

I clean up after myself immediately wherever I am, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Which often means I'm that person who ends up doing all the dishes and cleaning up after everyone else who often magically disappears and let me do it and then act like they didn't know or would've helped haha ?,
That's one reason I prefer the company of animals to people, (at least you know what to expect with them ?)

I don't enjoy leaving anything that has to be done later or builds up and most certainly don't enjoy leaving anything for someone else to do. I find it embarrassing if somebody cleans up after me, so I make sure I get in there first.

I will always help with household chores when in someone's home, whether visiting for a meal or staying, and when I’m alone, I do chores or some form household job daily so it never builds up and gets on top of me.

I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, I enjoy getting out in the garden, will attend your indoor and potted plants, mow lawns, pick up dog poo etc and if you like I will even do some puppy training whether that be toilet training, lead training or teaching patience with treat training.

I am also becoming increasingly interested in making videos and I tend to video a lot, so I am thrilled to take videos of your pets and plants to keep you informed and up to date and put you at ease that everything is being looked after with my utmost care and hopefully your pets and I are all happy and getting along well together. I rarely have any issues with any animals, and I am sitting here struggling to even recall one animal I didn't get along with ?.

I do work from home on my computer, so will be in with your pets most of the time unless I need supplies or have appointments or just need a little fresh air or to have a walk and explore a little. I am happy to walk the dogs to your same routines as well as follows your routines with inside/outside time, feeding etc So when not attending pets, chores or errands or taking a nap time I spend most of my time at my computer.

I am also very energy conscious and so won’t leave things turned on when they're not in use.

I am happy to do anything around the garden, even heavy tree trimming and such if it will be of help. I enjoy it and see it as exercise, not work. I can also do odd jobs, paint and minor repairs if needed. I also like to feel like I am contributing something, so don't be afraid to ask me if I would do something for you while I was there.

That’s about all I can think of to say. I haven't done a lot of sitting, only for friends and family, but it ties in perfectly with my plans to explore the country in a van and do it in-between, At the moment I am available for any length of time, short, medium or long term are all good.
