More information about this house sitter

I am mature minded, genuine, reliable, honest and hard working. I am my most relaxed, happy and in my element when I'm spending time caring for animals. Horses are my passion as well as dogs, big or small, affectionate or challenging it doesn't bother me. I will give them all the love and cuddles they can tolerate as well as being confident with standing my ground if necessary!

Initially I am hoping for a longer term sit, like maybe a month or so. I'm available for this type of stay asap so from mid December until February depending on location. I'm in the process of constructing a granny flat in Kwinana area and it won't be finished for a couple of months. After our little home is ready, I'll be keen for shorter stays throughout the year if they are within approximately 30min of Cockburn. Please don't hesitate to message me though!

I enjoy being outside and can potter around for hours around the stable or barn or watering the garden or going for a walk to the beach or bush or sweeping or just out with horses and whatever other farm animals like goats - I really love goats. And pigs...oh and cuddly ducks and hens and turkeys... and rabbits, guinea pigs...sheep.. cows.. you get the picture! I'm a bit scared of geese lol..

I grew up with horses and was involved in day to day farm life in NZ as a teenager, as well as working with racehorses. Horses have always been my passion. Im confident and capable with as aspects of feeding, rugging, mucking out, waters, general horse duties etc. as well as riding if required.

I have a current stable hand licence, drivers licence, police check and am experienced handling racehorses including yearlings, including administering oral medications and treating minor injuries.

Property would need to be suitable for myself and my daughter who is 9yrs old.

We do have a well trained female dog and a cat of our own but I can make arrangements for my pets stay elsewhere temporarily if need be depending on what's required.

I can provide rental references, personal references, work references, and references regarding my confidence, ability, and work ethic with horses and my affinity and natural way with animals in general. I love them all!
