More information about this house sitter

Hello! I'm Ardeena. Digital Nomad Pet Lover & Trusted House sitter.

I’m fortunate to have an online career as an administrator and personal development mentor specialising in long-term mentoring to catalyse positive transformations in individuals’ lives.

Growing up in New Zealand with pets, and rural Australia surrounded by dogs, cattle, sheep (ask me about Roger, the ram!), horses, and various wildlife, I developed a profound appreciation for nature, the great outdoors, animals, and the thrill of exploring the vast world.

My experience 10+ years
My upbringing immersed me in the world of animals, laying the groundwork for my experience in house and pet sitting, which I first began at high school when I advertised as house- and pet-sitter during the holidays, and grew to include neighbours, family friends and beyond. In addition to my house-sitting ventures, I’ve actively participated in WWOOFing, volunteering on farms, which has honed my ability to care for both animals and properties while fostering a strong sense of adaptability, responsibility, and respect.

My portfolio includes rascally kittens to the care of senior cats and dogs, some of whom required medication and I understand that they can need a bit more attention to ensure their comfort and well-being. Moreover, I’ve recently delved into the Trust Technique, a transformative approach that emphasizes deepening the bond between humans and animals, bringing about positive changes in both their lives.
This journey exemplifies my commitment to enhancing the lives of the animals I care for and the homeowners who entrust me with their cherished spaces.

As a digital nomad, the world is my office, and my journey is fueled by a deep passion for exploration and a love for animals. Here's why house and pet sitting align perfectly with my nomadic lifestyle:

1. A Love for New Experiences: I thrive on experiencing diverse cultures, meeting new people, and exploring unfamiliar places. House and pet sitting allow me to immerse myself in local communities, creating meaningful connections wherever I go.
2. Lifelong Animal Enthusiast: My love for animals knows no bounds. From dogs and cats to goats and chickens, I've had a lifelong fascination with our furry and feathered friends. House and pet sitting grant me the opportunity to form bonds with animals from all walks of life.
3. A Sense of Purpose: Caring for your home and pets provides me with a sense of purpose on my travels. It's not just about visiting new destinations but also contributing positively to the lives of the families and pets I assist.
4. Flexible Work-Life Balance: Being a digital nomad means I have the flexibility to work from anywhere. House and pet sitting allows me to create a stable routine amid my travels, ensuring both your home and pets receive the attention they deserve.
5. Building Trusting Connections: I believe in the power of trust and shared experiences. Through house and pet sitting, I've had the privilege of building trusting relationships with homeowners around the world, enhancing my journey in remarkable ways.
6. Giving Back: My nomadic lifestyle has given me so much, and house and pet sitting is my way of giving back to the global community. It's a win-win situation where I can explore while providing homeowners with peace of mind.
7. Creating Memories: Each house and pet sitting opportunity adds a unique chapter to my travel diary. I cherish the memories created during these stays, which often become the most cherished stories of my adventures.

I'm excited about the possibility of caring for your home and pets, ensuring they are safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Let's chat and see how I can bring peace of mind to your travels and a dose of joy to your pets' lives.
