Dear Homeowners,

Dawne and I have been house sitting together for many years, from Sydney to Townsville, including throughout southeast Queensland. House sitting with Dawne is a really enjoyable team effort and her contribution has proven to be very appreciated over the many years that we have been house sitting together.

So let me introduce myself. My name is Leonard and I am 51 years of age.

I am an Economist by training, as I have a BEc (Hons) and I am an ethical person by profession, as I am employed by The University of Queensland as an independent consultant at UQ Research Ethics and Integrity. My position at The University of Queensland is a legal requirement for The University of Queensland to be able to conduct research. Moreover, my position at The University of Queensland is also a requirement for The University of Queensland to be able to obtain research grants and to publish the results of research in peer-reviewed publications.

To obtain my position at The University of Queensland, I had to be approved, firstly, by The University of Queensland, secondly, by the Queensland Police Service and thirdly, by the Queensland Government's Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, which is the relevant government department in Queensland for approving people that are employed in the field of Research Ethics.

I was able to receive the approval of The University of Queensland, the Queensland Police Service and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, by being an outstanding candidate. I have now held my position at The University of Queensland for more than a decade.

My position at The University of Queensland enables me to do all the work required from home. Meetings are conducted online, via Zoom, using my mobile phone internet connection and I have online access to all the research applications that I need to review. In fact, I have access to The University of Queensland's Virtual Private Network.

My position at The University of Queensland, in the conduct of ethical research, emphasises the importance of cleanliness and tidiness, which Dawne and I will apply when caring for your pets and your home, whilst maintaining your garden and your swimming pool.

Dawne and I are non-smokers and we do not drink alcohol. We lead a quiet life and whilst we have no pets of our own, we would really love to care for your pets and your home.
