Caring Experienced Versatile House/Farm Sitters

We, Satya(M) and Ishtar(F) are a mature, sensitive, caring and conscious couple who are spending the next few years exploring Australia. We have rented our house in the Northern Rivers of NSW to go traveling. Our property has an inground pool, hedges and a vegetable garden, all of which we personally maintained.

Satya is a horticulturalist, hedge master and retired arborist who spent his youth on a mixed farm in rural Queensland. He is also a muscle whisperer, and brings with him previous house sitting and farm sitting experience.

Ishtar is a mother of 2 adult children and is also a psychic healer. “Household pets were an essential part of my family life with my children and I miss having them around”. “I connect easily with animals of all kinds and understand the trust and vulnerability required to allow others to care for our very loved, non human family members.”


During the last few years we have house sat a number of places in Far North Queensland including Kurrimine Beach, South Cairns, Peeramon and Speewah. In that time we have cared for a number of dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, a pig, a goat and a number of gardens all for the mutual benefit and enjoyment of people and animals alike. Our housesits have shown us how flexible and versatile we are as a couple as they have been very diverse in their nature.

At the moment it feels right for us to stay in the Far North Queensland area so we are looking for house/farm sits during 2015/2016 that are between Townsville to the south, the Atherton Tablelands and Port Douglas to the north.

We are non-smokers, both hold current drivers licences, we have a Toyota Hiace van and have current police clearance certificates. We can also provide lots of references on request.

We are very much looking forward to meeting you and caring for your property and your non human family members.
