Hey there!

We're Beth, Dan and Kane; a young family who have just moved to Australia.

I (Beth) am originally from the UK and i've been fortunate to have lived in the UK, multiple places in Australia and then the last 7 years in New Zealand. Dan is from New Zealand, and has spent some time living in the UK before. Our son Kane was born in the 1st week of Level 4 back in April 2020, so he has only ever lived in New Zealand until now.

I'm a Senior Project Officer, and Dan is a Manager for Enhanced Due Diligence (Financial Crime) and has recently become a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

We have 2x 4 year old rescue cats called Maui and Marvel, who we absolutely adore, but they are staying in Wellington NZ with family for a little while, whilst we get ourselves set up in Australia. Once they are over and settled with us, we look forward to using this site to find awesome people to look after them whilst we travel.

We love exploring new places, being outdoors and going on walks. Kane is obsessed with all things relating to animals and our cats are his best friends (I sometimes get a little jealous as he definitely prefers them to us!)

Before Kane was born, we were fortunate to have travelled extensively across the world, and this is something we're really eager to do again, bringing Kane along with us to experience a range of different cultures and experiences.

We're incredibly house proud and we'd love to take the opportunity to spend time with your fur babies and take great care of your home.

Kane has been brought up alongside animals and is incredibly sweet and gentle. As a family unit, we've predominantly looked after Cats and Dogs, for periods of up to 4 weeks both in our own home and at others.

We've looked after a range of dog breeds: Staffys, Labradors, German Shepherds, Boxers, Leonbergers, Fox terrier x corgi etc, so we're used to walking large dogs who are extremely strong on the lead.

We had to administer medication for one of the dogs we regularly looked after in New Zealand, so we're more than comfortable looking after animals who may need to eat in a strict regime or be given medication.
As we own cats ourselves, we're experienced in worming and giving flea treatments, if needed.

Both Dan and I were brought up around cats, dogs, and horses, so we're extremely knowledgeable about how to take care of pets well. I was brought up around German Shepherds and English Staffordshire Bull Terriers, so they are a breed I know very well, and Dan was brought up with German Shepherds who were being trained for the Police.

We're extremely house proud, and we LOVE cleaning so you'd always return to a spotless home and a happy pet!

We have a portable bed which Kane adores, that we have in our room with us whenever we travel or house-sit, so we wouldn't require any extra space. He's incredibly well-behaved, and we haven't had to 'child-proof' or make any specific provisions for him. Read more...
