Hi there
We are a middle aged Kiwi couple touring around Australia with our Springer Spaniel Riley. We are new members of Mindahome but have experience housesitting around Australia and NZ through other web sites. Our backgrounds are in farm/horticultural management and disability service management. We have years of experience with pets and animals as we have lived in the country for the last 30 years.
We are both non smokers, happy gardeners, great at home maintenance and animal care.
We're happy to do short or long stays. If you have some room for us to put our caravan, we will happily look after your property and pets.

Just a note, we are happy staying in our caravan and we just need access to a bathroom. Riley, our dog, does not come into the houses we care for.

Nicki & Regan have just completed a 2 weeks stay at our house, looking after our small mini foxie dog, 6 chickens & 2 cows.

We Highly recommend them to anyone. They are a very kind and trustworthy couple. They met our requirements and more.

Even cutting our grass which wasn't expected of them.

Hopefully they will be available next time we go away.

Nicki and Regan were fantastic house sitters. They looked after our dogs and kept an eye on my elderly mother who lives next door. They were very capable around the place and had a good knowledge of how small farms work. There was a problem with my mother's water pump while we were away and Regan sorted it out, no problems. We found Nicki and Regan to be really easy to communicate with both before and during our absence, and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Nicki and Regan completed a 2 week house sit for us from 20th Jan 2020 to 4th Feb 2020. They stayed in their beautiful van on our property and were very clean and tidy and pretty self sufficient. They were amazing. They have a dog (Riley) with them who is the most well behaved and beautiful dog I have ever met. We have 4 dogs, 2 older ones and 2 young and big and boisterous pig hunting dogs and they all got on really well. NICKI and Regan coped very well with the dogs. We have 2 inside cats which were also well cared for. And chooks and birds all were happy and healthy when we got home. We have 3 horses which have free range over our 700acre property and they fed them every day without any problems. We have had different house sitters for 12 years now and Nicki and Regan are the first to keep all our plants alive and healthy till we arrived home .. They coped very well with the water situation considering we are in the middle of a major drought as we only had a puddle left in 1 dam and our tanks were only 1/4 full. Since they have left we have had over 100ml of rain and all our dams and creeks are full and we actually have some green grass growing around the house again. We cant guarantee it but maybe they will bring some rain to you if you need it! 😂

Anyway Nicki and Regan were a lovely couple , very honest and thoughtful and we would highly recommend them for any house sit. They managed ours perfectly and could do yours as well. I am happy for you to contact us by email if you have any concerns or questions.

I have known Nicki and Regan for over 12 months, in that time I visited the property and gardens that they were residing in and the property always presented immaculately.
