Hi Home Owners & Pet Parents,

** Currently house sitting for Dolly & Dusty until Oct 2025 and looking for house sits through the Christmas/New Year period.

I'm a single 49 year old semi retired professional. I've been a property owner and landlord for over 20 years and at one stage had 7 Air'BnB properties. I'm extremely property experienced and very domesticated when it comes to cleaning and maintaining owners homes and I have a lot of general experience with appliances, gardens/retic, pools, spas & pond maintenance.

I work part time remotely about 20 hours a week with my laptop which gives me the freedom to travel and explore and while I'm house/pet sitting I will be home with your pets most of the time.

I'm a non-smoker, have no pet allergies and live a healthy lifestyle. I love walking/hiking in nature (parks, beaches, forests) and I've been a devoted animal lover and pet owner my whole life with a number of cats, dogs, fish, birds & guinea pigs.

My last pets were 2 x Bichon Frise X Silky Terriers (Max & Zeus) who were brothers that I had for 17/18 years but lost recently (they died a year apart) but they had a long, happy, love filled life. Around the same time I also lost a rescue cat (a Ragdoll named Batman) who was with me for 8 years and ruled the roost when all three were together.

The cat I had prior lived to a ripe 21 years and the vets have always been impressed at the age/health of my pets which I believe is a sign of love & care.

I've had many fish over my years and was breeding at one stage - anything from Koi to Tropical fresh water fish. I haven't had marine fish (yet) but know a lot about keeping them.

I'm familiar with a number of farm animals (sheep, goats, chickens, horses etc) and reptiles/birds. My son's grandmother is a professional snake handler and does education on reptiles and has a number of snakes, lizards and other animals on their acreage property.

I'm passionate about sustainability, living off grid and a healthy/green conscious lifestyle and I have a lot of experience with off grid - (solar/batteries/rain water harvesting etc).

I'm also experienced with many special needs (and medications) especially for elderly pets who unfortunately develop health and mobility issues in their later years.

I have a green thumb and am a passionate recycler, composter and organic grower. I've had worm farms and love an orchard or veggie garden and I'm more than capable to care for any garden needs.

I'm into my second year of house/pet sitting and I like to regularly update you daily to begin with and to reassure you and then start to space out the updates to every 2-3 days as we settle in to a routine, but open to anything you prefer or have in mind.

I aim to bring trust & confidence for every home & pet owner I work with so they can enjoy a stress free trip away from their loved ones and come back to a clean home and happy, healthy pets.

I also have a Police clearance and my son's mother works with WA Police and can be a reference if required.

Given the time/opportunity (and especially for longer stays) I'd prefer to meet the owners/pets prior to put everyone's minds at ease and discuss any specific needs.
