We are two semi retired ladies who have a good outlook on life, an adventure to explore new areas and to help others out by looking after their properties and fur babies whilst you take a break.
We are Full time Travellers since September 2019, so a place for 'OUR' home on wheels (our Caravan) on your property is a 'Must' for us please or we have to find somewhere close by for it to be stored and then unfortunately it costs us to have to have it stored away whilst sitting your home for free.
So space for our Caravan would be awesome!
We are Mothers to 3 lovely young Women who have blessed us with 7 gorgeous Grandchildren, ageing from 5 years old to a 22 years old.
We are originally from The Yarra Valley in Victoria (Beautiful part of Victoria)
Our travels brought us up to Queensland and beyond for health reasons first off, but We’ve been stationed in and around the Bundaberg/Bargara/Hervey Bay regions for near 5-6 years now and have successfully completed numerous house/fur babysits including repeats in the Hervey Bay areas and also in Victoria, when we visit family.
We have made some lovely friends and within these, are several homeowners and their fur babies that we keep in contact with in the beautiful Wide bay and surrounding areas.
2026 is fairly full now but still has a few spaces available (but not the end of June to mid July nor The Start of December when we ourselves will be taking a break possibly to NZ.
We have though started to take bookings for 2027 as you'll see from our calendar.
We will take care of your home as if it were our own & take care of your fur/feathered friends too or just your home if that's what you need, mainly as security for your home whilst you're away!
We bring our own food, linen as well, we'll use your consumables up in the fridge if you prefer us to, just to save them going off or being thrown away depending on your time frame away. (Most of our clients have told us to use them up).
We do ask if we can use your internet whilst we are there sitting your home and furbabies, We don't ask for payments But "Gratuities" though are always welcomed as a thank you, all of which is greatly appreciated and graciously received.
We really love what we do for others.
We will leave your home as you left it with us and your gardens will be kept tidy, unless you have them done by a gardener already! We’ll collect your mail and leave it in a safe place in your home and we can leave fresh bread & milk for you if you'd like, for your return home unless you've already picked it up on your way back.
Most of all though!
Your fur/feathered or hairy babies will be stress/anxiety free. Dogs walked daily if thats their routine, medications given if they are on any at the expected time they are needed.
Both Shirl and I are fully (4) Covid vaxxed and yearly flu jabs done too.
We have written references, but references are on the sites we are on, plus verbal if needed.
We’ve been fairly busy with our housesitting adventures even down in Victoria when we visit family and also up in the Atherton Tablelands further north too.
If we can help you out at all, please message. We send photos to you regularly via 'Messenger' or preferably "Whatsapp" to keep you informed of any goings on etc.

We do ask though that you clean your:
1/ toaster tray.
2/ Air fryer if you have one.
3/ the filter in the washing machine too, if you could please.
We've had some really nasty surprises when it comes to these items in our travels lol.

PS. Past housesits since 2019 have been repeat sits (so there's really no new references available from the past couple of years) the 2026-2027 season of house sitting will also mostly be repeat sits.
A couple of new ones too this year in 2026.

Since we started house sitting back in 2019, We've managed to help out and successfully complete over 100 housesits for homeowners with their house/fur baby sitting needs, (sometimes by separating ourselves up in order to help out).

Now Unfortunately though, Starting in 2027, We can no longer split up, as we are finding that it's doubling our costs with food & Fuel etc when we do split it.
So please look at the dates available if you'd like us to help you out as we won't be able to cross over on any dates from 2027 onwards, it'll be both of us doing the sit for you!
