About this house sitting position in 15 drive mins from Gympie - 50 mins Noosa/Maroochydore

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST. CATTLE/FARM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. Approx 4-7 weeks September-October 2026

We are planning around 4 - 7 weeks' duration. No set dates as yet, so can be flexible.

Spectacular views, 100 acres, and plenty of flat space for your van to hook up to power & water close to house. Access to shower, toilet & laundry if required. Or live-in the house may also be available.

15 minutes from Gympie - Cafes, Woollies, Coles Shops etc. 7 min to General Store/Take Aways. Friendly, caring neighbours & community. Close to a Community Recreation grounds including a tennis court with regular events, i.e., fitness, social tennis to meet the local community residents.

Farm experience is preferable to check very quiet cattle (steers - come when called), plus check fences. Silage feeding may be required. Fully irrigated Fruit Trees/Garden to water (if no rain), mowing of house yard/lawn with ride-on lawn mower required.

1 x outside-working Border Collie needs a walk/run/food each day. 1 x very much loved indoor Miniature Schnauzer who also loves playing & loads of cuddles (may go with us).

How very fortunate we were to be introduced to Genevieve & Barry - there are simply not enough thanks yous to express our gratitude. With 100 acres, heifers calving, hay bales to be distributed, friendly bull and exuberant border collie to be feed, orchard to be water and a brand new house to care for. to say we were nervous is an understatement - Barry & Gen and their brilliant reference immediately put us at ease. We returned to a cleaner house than we started with! Barry & Gen have what it takes to look after a large scale cattle property and they will be coming back - there is no better testament than that!
