Frank, Pickles and Cuddles are very sweet, very silly cats who need a reliable buddy to snuggle when mum and dad (Claire and Michael) head to the UK to visit Grandma.

Importantly, Frank needs someone who is comfortable giving medication to cats and who will be at home every night to do so - so ideally I'd love to find someone who is either already Adelaide-based or will be in the region to visit a couple of times between now and May, to meet the gang and get the hang of the routine.

Frank is the most wonderful fluffy ginger sook, the love of my life (and every vet he has ever met) however he has recently been placed on medication to avoid stress-related urinary issues (quite common in boy cats) so he does need a tiny tablet every night and a supplement in his food. We're getting good at mastering the art and he is pretty well behaved for it, but it's vital he gets pilled. In return, though, he will offer you the rubbiest fluffiest tummy in the world.

Cuddles is small and daft and a little bit wild and she doesn't take no for an answer when it comes to affection, while Pickles is the gawky little brother with a floofy tail who enjoys helping you raise the front blinds in the morning as long as you feed him, coz its always been aaaaaaaaaaaagggggeeeeeeees since he last ate.

They all have the run of the house and garden, but we keep the boys in from twilight, or when we are going out for more than an hourish.

In return for keeping these guys safe you will get to stay in a lovely, warm and friendly single level home with a vintage edge, in a quiet street, less than 10 minutes' drive up into the Onkaparinga hills and on to the Adelaide hills. Pretty Coromandel Valley and the delightful Duck Inn are 10 minutes' drive, 20 mins to Stirling and Crafers, 30 to the CBD or beautiful southern beaches. There are also excellent local amenities within five minutes, including three supermarkets, a pub, bottle shop, fuel, cafes and post office, and buses to the city and hospital stop just at the end of the road.

The house boasts a very private and secluded back garden with large deck, chiminea and BBQ. There is ample driveway parking, two bedrooms (plus home office), two living areas and huge windows letting in gorgeous light but sheltered and shaded by greenery. It's the kind of street where the neighbours watch the house while you're away, and has almost no through traffic or noise.

Oh, and there are also around 30 houseplants plants of which I am quite fond, so the ability to keep them alive would be a bonus. And a chicken, although her companions have all died of old age in the last three months so she may or may not still be here by May...
