About this house sitting position in Alexander Heights

House and Outdoor Description:
This is a 3 BR plus Office, 2 Bathroom house with double carport/garage, located in a cul de sac. Behind the two remote garage doors is a large patio area that extends to the back lawn and garden area.

There will be space to park cars on the driveway, but our two cars will be behind the remote controlled garage doors. there is also spce on the grassed area at the front, provided sprinklers are avoided.

In the event of a long dry spell without rain, it would be much appreciated if the potted plants under the rear patio are watered, as well as plants near the back fence that may need watering.

Inside, there is a reverse cycle air conditioner that will privide heating for family room and kitchen, but will also extend to the lounge area. There is also a separate heater located in the lounge room. The kitchen is fully equiped with dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, induction cooktop and oven. There is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry.

Pets:
We have two short hair pure white sister cats, Smudge and Ghost, who are approaching 7 years in age and last vaccinated in Jan 2026. They are beautiful pets and basically own the house and will let you know when they want to be fed, but typically between 6 and 7.30 am in the morning, and 5.30pm in the evening.

The cats will be easy to look after and are very affectionate, mostly. Smudge thinks she is human and is the curious one who investigates everything new. Ghost is more cat-like and mostly sleeps during the day on our recliner lounge, but is the demanding one when its food time. We let them explore outside during the day, where they stay mostly within the yard or within a few houses away. At night after dinner, we try not to let them outside again, but if they sneak out, they usually come back before 8pm.

Preferred house sitter(s) would be a single person or couple without own pets. Read more...
