About this house sitting position in Altona Meadows

Hello,

We are looking for a kind and reliable house sitter to take care of our home in Altona Meadows, a quiet and secluded area with a very calm, relaxed feel. The house is only a 5-minute walk from the shopping centre and bus station, and about 20 minutes from Laverton train station, with parks and lovely walking paths close by. It’s an ideal place if you enjoy peace, nature, and a slower rhythm, while still being well connected.

During your stay, you would be caring for our small animal family: two rabbits, a few hens, two ducks, and a rooster. All of them are easy and low-maintenance, but we’re looking for someone who already has experience with farm or backyard animals and feels comfortable with daily routines. The only thing to be mindful of is keeping the rooster in his enclosure overnight and letting him out after 8 am, so the mornings stay quiet for everyone.

We’re hoping to find someone who is respectful, grounded, and genuinely enjoys being around animals. Someone who will care for them with kindness and attention, and who will treat our home as their own while they’re here.
