About this house sitting position in Ashburton

We live in a lovely two storey townhouse in the great suburb of Ashburton, Victoria.

Our home is close to essential shops, cafes and wine bars, gyms, pools, Chadstone Shopping Centre, public transport (buses along High St and Ashburton train station is a 5 minute walk from our home), walking/biking trails (Anniversary Trail and Gardiner's Creek Trail) and is a 5 minute drive to the Monash Freeway entry. Ashburton truly is a spectacular area to stay if you want great accessibility to many activities without the hustle or inner city issues.

We have a beautiful 9 year old cat named Aoife (pronounced 'ee-fa') and a 7 year old cavoodle, Archie. They get along well with one another and enjoy the space our home has to offer them.

Aoife likes her own space and she will generally cuddle up to you in the evening if she feels comfortable, but don't be disheartened if she doesn't. She is fiercely independent and loves food!

Archie is a bundle of fun. He enjoys going on walks around the many walking paths around our area and equally enjoys cuddling on the couch.

We are seeking a genuine, trustworthy house sitter to enjoy our home whilst we are away. I have an extended document with additional details that I will provide to the appointed house sitter. “We had a wonderful experience house sitting for Emily and Kieren. They were great hosts and very easy to communicate with, which made everything run smoothly ☺️ Their home was lovely – comfortable, well organised, and easy to settle into. Looking after Archie and Aoife was a pleasure. Archie is a beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament who loves cuddles and attention. Aoife took a little while to get used to us, spending time both around us and on her own. It was clear how loved and well cared for they are. We also enjoyed the location and exploring the surrounding area. Overall, this was a fantastic sit, and we’re very grateful to have been trusted with the home and Archie and Aoife. We would happily return in the future x”

“Emily and Kieren were kind, friendly and communicative hosts. Their home is very clean and spacious with modern interiors and was very well equipped with everything that we could need during our stay. Archie and Aoife were great fun to pet sit - Archie loved company and cuddles and Aoife spent a mixture of time chilling with us and time to herself. Neither were any trouble and the detailed instructions left by Emily and Kieren made caring for them, and our stay in general, straightforward. Ashburton is a great location, with a great high street with shops, cafés, restaurants, bus stops and the train station (which has 25min express trains into the CBD during peak periods) all just a few minutes walk from the home. We'd highly recommend sitting for Emily and Kieren - thank you for having us stay!”
