About this house sitting position in Bentleigh

Our home is a modern, newly built 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom family house with 4 toilets across two spacious levels. It’s in excellent condition, bright, comfortable and well equipped with heating, cooling, and fast internet/Wi Fi.
We have a lovely, landscaped garden and an alfresco area that’s great for relaxing. There is a double garage, and we expect there will be space for one car for the sitter. There are a full-size basketball ring and games table (pool/air hockey) to play with. The property also has external security cameras.

Location
We’re in Bentleigh, a friendly, family-oriented suburb with everything close by:
• Parks: 500m
• Supermarket, cafés, shopping strip: ~750m
• Train station: 1.5km
• Melbourne CBD: ~13km
It’s a walkable, safe and convenient area with plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Pets & Care Requirements
We have three animals who are the heart of our home. All pets stay indoors overnight but can use the secure pet door to go in and out during the day (it automatically locks at night).

Two Cats (Brothers, 5 years old)
• Short haired, easygoing, independent
• Fed morning and evening, with fresh water daily
• Mostly keep to themselves since we got the puppy
• Enjoy gentle company but require minimal hands-on care

Cavoodle Puppy (Male, born Dec 2025)
A sweet, social, affectionate pup who thrives on company.
Needs:
• Someone home most of the day
• 2–3 meals daily
• Two walks per day, at least 30 minutes each
• Brushing every 1–2 days
• Lots of play, training and cuddles
• Crate sleeping overnight
• Not allowed upstairs
• Not allowed to sleep in beds

Training stage:
• Learning sit, wait, drop, no jumping, no mouthing, and asking permission before getting on the couch
• Very friendly with other dogs
• Toilet training in progress (4 months old at time of listing): sleeps through the night but may still have indoor accidents during the day

House Care Expectations
We ask that you:
• Care for the animals and keep the puppy company
• Keep the house tidy
• Bring in the mail
• Take bins out on collection days
• No garden watering required - it’s on a timer

Ideal Sitter
We’re looking for someone who:
• Loves animals and is confident with puppies
• Is home much of the day (important for the dog)
• Is patient with training and toilet training
• Is tidy and respectful of our home
• Is a non smoker
