About this house sitting position in Bilambil heights
We have a single storey, 3 bedroom, two bathroom house with a pool. We are based in Northen NSW on a quiet street that overlooks Bilinga/Coolangatta/Fingal and the ocean. We are surrounded by greenery and the house also looks over the Tweed Valley, and farmland - with cows that are regularly out on the hill to our left. All can be seen from our balcony/pool and when in the lounge room/kitchen! One of the bedrooms is set up to be a study with a desk, chair and one screen, and we are in the process of getting wifi which will be sorted before we go away. Our garage has a home gym with a weight rack/bench press and treadmill. Also have lounge chairs/umbrella for relaxing poolside and a pool float that can be utilised. There are quite a few stairs to climb to get up to the house. We have labradoodle puppy, Lenny, who is only 2 months old at the moment so he will still be quite young when you are with him. He is teething and may still be come June, which is something to note. Otherwise, he is pretty great, he is crate trained so sleeps in his own space at night (and we would like that to continue). He is pretty good with toilet training so should have it sorted by June. He likes you to play with him and his toys, but when I am working (from home) he likes to sleep nearby and won’t bug you. He hardly barks and is quite calm. Just loves zoomies around the house and in the yard from time to time. We have set his playpen up in the sunroom out the back so he can be placed in there if you need to head out. His playpen has a wee mat etc. If home, it is preferable that he toilets outside but he must be watched as he digs holes and is possible he could escape under the fence if allowed. He is cuddly but for the most part, likes to chill and do his own thing. When we watch tv, he likes to lay by himself on the tiles at our feet/on his dog bed. We would like someone who we can trust to care for him given his young age, someone with experience with puppies would be amazing. He also can’t use stairs as he is so young due to risk of hip issues so if you’re on the front balcony, you just have to ensure you pick him up if going down the stairs. The backyard (next to his playpen) has no stairs so is normally where I let him play/toilet. Read more...
