About this house sitting position in Bondi beach

Hello! My name is Andi (American) and my husband is Gerard (Irish). We live in a 1 bedroom apartment 4 min walk from the beach in Bondi. We rescued the most smooshy dog 2 months ago named Moo. We are going to my home in Los Angeles for Christmas and our sitter for Moo fell through last minute. Moo is a total love bug, but because we aren't sure how he is with fireworks we'd be looking for someone who is planning to be home from around 8pm on New Year's Eve. In general, we wouldn't want him to be left alone more than 4-5 hours. He's great with other dogs, but 1 out of every 20 walks he will bark and jump at a person (it's only ever people!) and we don't know what his trauma / trigger is. It doesn't happen much but when he's spooked/anxious he can be jumpy. Other than that he's a total sook and loves a cuddle. He's a bit overweight and is on a weight loss journey. We are devastated to be spending Christmas without him.
