About this house sitting position in Bowral

You would be caring for our two dogs: Honey, a 16 year old beagle/cavalier and Gus an 11 year old Scottish Terrier. They have a 25-30 min walk after breakfast and a short 15 minute walk in the evening. They enjoy their walks. Honey takes daily pain medication for arthritis. They are both low maintenance in that Gus spends most of his day outside and Honey sleeps most of the day. Honey has a special kidney-friendly diet.

We prefer retirees or those who work from home as our dogs are used to company, but we understand that you would be out investigating beautiful Bowral and the surrounding Southern Highlands some of the time.

Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house on one level and on a good-sized block of residential land. There is off street parking and garage parking for sedans or small to medium-sized SUVs. A newly renovated guest bedroom (queen size bed, chest of drawers, tall boy and built-in wardrobe) and a new bathroom (walk-in shower) is available for your personal use.

The care of our dogs is our main concern. There are no gardening or other requirements apart from watering a few indoor plants. Please contact us if you are interested and available to help us out. “Such a relaxing stay in Bowral! John and Deslea are great communications, very welcome and thoughtful. Their home is quiet, clean and spacious. Gus and Honey are delightful, well mannered and easy going. Honey does have a special diet and medication to consider however clear detailed instructions were given and easy to follow. She is also quite deef so prefers to stay nearby while Gus is off exploring the gardens through the day. I also immensely enjoyed our slow walks around the neighbourhood. I very much look forward to pet sitting here again sometime. ”
