About this house sitting position in Brisbane

I need to go away just for one night really but could become more regular if went well.

I have 2 rottweiler that are giant lap dogs and very needy attention lovers and gentle souls. And I sideways walking cat Frankie who is the best and super low maintenance but will flop down to give snugs.

I have a 3 bedroom house with a big yard for the dogs and we live right next to lots of parks and organic farmers literally 100m away on a Sunday. If you wanted to stay longer I could be convinced to go for 2 nights for rhe right people.

I admit my rottis are a little high maintenance in the sense that the are dog children. Fleetwood likes to sit on your lap amd be patted and kiss and told she is pretty. Zeppelin was rescued from bad people who beat him as a puppy. I worked in veterinary for 15 years so I saved him. He is a little heavy atm but he is having some digestive issues but you wont notice. He can just be a little stand offish with some men at first if you're hesitatamt with him but has zero aggression and will get scared if you escalate your voice or a car does a burn out etc. Fleetwood just wants your attention all the time and is very smart. They do malt and I have a robovac but pet hair is a price I pay for quality love in this house. The house is always tidy but if you're sensitive, there's antihistamines or this may not be the house for you. They don't 'have' to be walked while I am away because the yard is so big and they will be anxious as this is the first time I have left Fleetwood. She is 1.5years and was meant to make going away easier with zeppelin having a buddy but she is needy little lover. If you do walk them I do recommend ONE at a time even if there is 3 of you. Zeppelin only needs very short walks because of his injuries, he's all about the sniffs. Fleetwood has plenty of energy but also walk are not essential for this short visit and my first time going away. I will probably get them a big marrow bones each to distract them and help their anxiety while I am gone and they know to have this outside and are to be reminded if they try sneaking it in. Fleetwood will bring you random things she finds in the garden. They are truly the lights of my life and you will loce them if you love animals and are good with big softies.

People do judge rottweilers and get scared for no reasin when the see them so if you do walk them don't ve surprised if people carry on or cross the street. I would avoid the dog park that is nearby while I am away just so no accidents occur. Just short walks around the park if you desire. Fleetwood is strong. She does know command and will listen if you command her but she is very much still a puppy and eagerly excited about others dogs and people amd can forget her manners in the heat of the moment. She calms down at home and plays eith her toys and will bring them to you to play or take her plushie of choice to bed.

They are great gaurd dogs and the house is safe and very close to everything. Walking distance to shops, parks, recreation centres and even the hospital if needed. The city is only 1.8kms away. Super close but its still leafy enough to feel removed. I do recommend ear buds to sleep though as personally I am a light sleeper and the hospital is close so you can hear sirens or rescue helicopters occasionally.

My furniture is modern and comfy but the dogs very much live inside and are allowed on the couch and bed. There is a spare mattress on the floor in the second room I can make up if you don't like dogs on the bed but Fleetwood will want to sleep in bed. Zeppelin will likely sleep beside.

I will only make this trip if I find the right people to watch them. They are my priority.

Please let me know if this sounds like a fit for you. I would prefer to meet you and for you to meet them first.

“We loved looking after Zeppy and Franklin! Zeppy was a friendly teddy bear who only required one short walk a day. Franklin was an adorable cat and both pets enjoyed lots of cuddles which we loved. The house was amazing and in a great location! We would love to look after Zeppy and Franklin again! ”
