About this house sitting position in Brunswick

We are a family of 4 plus 1 furry kid. We live in an Edwardian house in a quiet street close to public transport in the awesome suburb of Brunswick. We are looking for someone who can look after our dog, house and plants whilst we are overseas. Our house has ducted heating, split system aircon, wifi, and ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom.

We have a 4 year old dachshund dog that needs to be walked, fed and affection every day. Our dog has been rescued & has experienced trauma. Please note our dog is an inside dog of an evening/night & responds well to a routine. We would love someone to come into our home and care for him as we would. Meet and greet required, preferably getting to know him before stay. He can experience anxiety with strangers but does settle once familiar with people & very affectionate. He loves nothing more than a cuddle at night or sneaking into the bottom of the bed over night. Our preference is for house sitters who will be home a lot.
