About this house sitting position in Burra

Suit retired couple or student doing PhD.
Close to Canberra
Needing farm minding for 3 months.
Small farm. 3 lovable working dogs (2 kelpies and a border collie) that need daily walks (twice daily if you ask them!) 75 sheep that need to be fed once a day. 20+ chickens to be fed every morning, produce lovely fresh eggs. Quiet location. Native pasture and hills for bushwalking. Close to the National Capital (Canberra). Amazing community with regular events like Friday night BBQ’s and social lunches.
Close to Namadgi National Park and Tinderry Nature Reserve

Self contained “Little House”. Fully equipped Kitchen, bathroom , one bedroom and Dining/lounge room.
TV (not that you need it in this scenic location)

“Living in the little house was perfect! The three dogs, Ivy, Gus and Jindy were very well behaved and have such individual personalities. They sat on our deck while we were inside and jumped for joy when we took them for walks around the property. The chickens delivered many eggs each day and we came up with many different recipes to use them. The quail was very friendly and would come right up to me for his breakfast. What a wonderful farm Fiona and Simon have. Great experience for us!”
