About this house sitting position in Clifton Hills (Kelmscott hills)

Who we’re looking for - A clean, respectful, honest, dog and nature-loving house and pet sitter/s who will treat our home and dogs as their own. References and Police clearance a must.

Pets - Our two much loved pups are Willow and Astro. They are both medium sized, active pups who love cuddles and won’t say no to sleeping on the bed with you (can also send them to bed in their own beds). Astro is a super love bug and gets a lot of comfort from regular couch cuddles. Willow is slightly more independent but also loves the occasional couch cuddle sesh. They can both be left home alone for the day if needed.

Our home - We live in an older unrenovated but comfortable and tidy home. There is reverse cycle aircon in the two bedrooms and the living area. There is access to wifi and streaming services, and plus a dishwasher. For sleep there is the option of our king size or in one of our boys’ single beds. Otherwise if you want to bring your caravan there is plenty of space to park it out the front. The backyard isn’t perfect (there have been works in the backyard resulting in half our lawn now missing) but there is also a large patio to hang out and have bbqs. The front is a peaceful hang out, with a comfy couch on our front porch for cool mornings under the trees or late afternoon sunset watching.

The location - We live in a beautiful, quiet community suburb in the foothills of Kelmscott. We’re a 35 minute drive to the city or the coast. And a ten minute walk to the local train and bus station (40 minute train ride to the city). The two major supermarkets, plus a number of local cafes, restaurants and takeaways, and the local library, are also only a ten minute walk away. Even closer are walk trails through the local foothills (with spectacular views over the city and of the sunsets when you get up high enough) and the local playground and park. Read more...
