Coorparoo, Queensland

About this house sitting position in Coorparoo

Christmas in Brisbane – beautiful home, cuddly Labradoodle & fresh eggs!

We're looking for a lovely, reliable couple to enjoy our beautiful Coorparoo home and keep our much-loved pets company while we're away over Christmas.

We've been fortunate to have wonderful house sitters for the past two Christmas holidays, and their lovely five-star reviews speak for themselves!

Our home is tucked away in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood, just 10 minutes from Brisbane's CBD and close to wonderful restaurants, cafes, shopping, cinemas and public transport.

There's a huge kitchen, air-conditioned comfort and a lovely outdoor entertaining area overlooking our private green garden. It's the perfect spot to relax with a book and a glass of wine, enjoy a BBQ or watch the chickens potter around the yard.

Meet your holiday companions!

Elsie, our gorgeous Labradoodle, is an affectionate, easygoing girl who loves cuddles, company and a good walk. Our lovely neighbours adore her too, so you may even find yourself sharing walking duties!

We also have six delightful little chickens who will happily reward you with beautiful fresh eggs.

What we'd love you to help with:

The animals are quite straightforward to care for. Elsie needs her usual love and attention, while the chickens need their water checked daily, food topped up and two small coops cleaned weekly.

We also have a few potted plants and herbs that need watering, along with a small lawn that we'd appreciate being mowed weekly. We provide an easy-to-use battery mower.

We're proud of our lovely home and are looking for someone who'll enjoy it and care for it as their own.

A couple would be ideal, with the downstairs accommodation and living areas available for your stay while our personal bedrooms upstairs remain private.

Whether you're looking to explore Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and hinterland, or simply enjoy a relaxing Christmas in a beautiful home with some very cute animal companions, we'd love to hear from you! Read more...
