About this house sitting position in Coromandel Valley

Experienced & Caring Pet Sitter/s Wanted – Beautiful Natural Setting with the occasional visiting Koala.

We’re looking for a genuine, experienced pet carer or couple to look after our two much-loved Collies and our very friendly 18-year-old cat.

Our dogs are affectionate and enjoy companionship, routine, and spend most of their time sleeping. Our “old man” cat is gentle and sociable, but at times needs a little extra care, patience, and attention befitting his senior status. ( He yells if he can’t find us)

We’re seeking someone who:
• Has solid experience caring for dogs (especially sensitive breeds) and senior cats
• Is calm, kind, and truly enjoys animal company
• Can be around during parts of the day and particularly in the evenings
• Is reliable and respectful of our home

In exchange, you’ll stay in a lovely, comfortable two story home set in a beautiful natural environment — peaceful, scenic, and restorative. Lots of walking trails nearby.

If you’re a caring and responsible animal lover who would enjoy time with wonderful pets in a serene setting, we’d love to hear from you. 🐾

“Mr Atticus the cat, the house boss, loved his chats and pats, the dogs Scout and Skipper were very loving and gentle. They enjoyed our walks and all the furry ones were easy to look after. Communication with Lyn and Phil was great and they left us with detailed info on caring for the house and pets. They are really friendly and welcoming. Their home is multi level, comfortable and spacious with a big garden. The area is lovely and the park across the road provided a peaceful outlook. ”

We are grateful to have found Dave and Mary-Anne on this site. Eazy going and competent people. Dave sorted out a tree down over phone lines and a bathroom leak while Mary-Anne contacted Telstra and us for repairs to be carried out. We came home to happy pets and a very clean house. The garden was taken care of in extreme heat. We also trusted them to walk our reactive dogs. Fantastic sitters
