About this house sitting position in Deception Bay

🐾 PET SITTER WANTED – DECEPTION BAY 🐶🐱🐔🐮 🐾
📅 Dates required: 21 April – 9 May 2027

We’re looking for a reliable, caring and animal-loving pet sitter to look after our little (okay, not so little!) crew while we’re away.

The team includes:

🐶 A large, lovable dog who may think he’s a lap dog

🐱 A cat with plenty of personality (and opinions!)

🐔 Chickens who will expect you to keep up with their daily routine

🐮 Cows who are pretty easy-going and mostly just interested in food!

We’re on acreage in Deception Bay, so you’ll need to be comfortable with country living and the occasional snake visitor 🐍. No need to be a snake charmer – just comfortable with the realities of acreage life!

The ideal person will:

❤️ Genuinely love animals and treat them as their own

💊 Be comfortable giving medication to our dog when required

🐕 Be confident and comfortable around a large dog

🌿 Be happy on acreage and not afraid of a little mud or the odd unexpected wildlife encounter

📞 Have references and previous pet/house-sitting experience

Our relatives live close by and will be available if you have any questions, need a second opinion, or just want to check in about anything. They’ll also be on hand to help with things like mowing (because acreage grass has a mind of its own! 🌱😂).

We’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible and relaxed who will enjoy spending time with our furry, feathered and four-legged family members.
