About this house sitting position in Diamond Creek

A small Hobby farm with a dog, a cat, eight sheep, a number of chooks and one duck.
The home is very comfortable in beautiful surrounds - lovely local walks, bike tracks and a train station 8 minutes away.
The sheep will have food & water but need to be checked each day.
Roxy the dog likes to relax but keeps an eye on the chooks each day. She is an outdoor/working dog but comes inside if there’s a storm.
Oscar the cat likes to sleep in the sun and enjoys his food and a good head scratch.
The chooks require fresh food and water each day and must be secured in the late afternoon.
Pot plants and veggie beds will require water - depending on the weather. Hopefully there will be some veggies/herbs for your use!
This house sit is ideal for a couple, to share the load but it is a beautiful spot to relax too!

“Joy's home was the most fantastic sit I've done. Be ready to immerse yourself in a lifestyle farm adventure. Very loving, happy animals - the dogs and cats with their individual characters, and the poultry and sheep that loved being fed and put to bed, but mostly looked after themselves. A diverse array of gardens, plants, fruit trees and vegetables, available to taste - picking tomatoes, chillies, herbs, pears, apples and grapefruit was fun and nourishing! The big, bright renovated house is modern, comfortable and homey, with a luxurious bed and a fabulous kitchen equiped for self sustained living. It was great to escape urban life, be with nature (beautiful bush block and sweeping paddocks), busy with daily farm chores and to get ongoing cuddles/snuggles from the cats and dogs. It is truly an adventure that gives you an insight into farm-life and self-stustained living to enjoy. ”

“It was such a delight to stay at Joy’s property. Looking after her pet family was an easy task and we appreciated the great instructions and hints. We thoroughly enjoyed the different personalities of the dogs and cats. Joy’s home is very comfortable and inviting with a lovely relaxing garden and a flourishing veggie patch. There are so many spots to admire the view and chill out with a friendly pet or two by your side. ?”
