About this house sitting position in Dunlop

Hello,

My hubby and I (and 2 kids) are looking for a house and pet sitter to take care of our home/garden, our dog Milo and suburban chooks over the Christmas holidays (20 Dec 2025 - around the 15 Jan 2026).

We live in beautiful Canberra with lovely walks and Brindabella views practically on our doorstep.

Our dog Milo is a Spookalier (a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Cocker Spaniel and Toy Poodle). He's an inside dog with access to the backyard via a doggy door. He loves to be walked. Our chickens need minimal care - let them out into the run during the day and lock up at night, collect and enjoy some of their beautiful fresh eggs.

Our garden is still getting established so requires watering particularly in the Summer heat.

We also have a heated magnesium plunge pool for your enjoyment during those summer days and nights. The pool shouldn't need any maintenance for the duration of the housesit.

Overall, we're looking for a sitter that takes good care of our animals, keeps our home safe and secure, stays in touch such as sending updates or photos, and returns the house as left.
