About this house sitting position in East Ipswich

We live in a classic Queenslander on just over 900sqm in East Ipswich, with a big, grassy front and backyard that our two Boston Terriers - Murphy and Molly.

They’re a mix of lazy loungers and energetic playmates. During the day, they’ll usually be found curled up in a sunny spot for a nap. But by late afternoon, they’re ready for action chasing each other around the yard, wrestling, and having a good play.

At night, they transform into couch potatoes and lap dogs! Molly will absolutely find a way to be on you, usually stretched across your chest demanding cuddles. She’s our little lovebug and still very much a puppy at one year old, sweet, but can be a bit boisterous when playing.

Murphy, on the other hand, is the gentleman of the house. He’s sweet, gentle, and loves a good scratch while sitting next to you. He’s more reserved than Molly and can be a bit nervous in unfamiliar situations. He’s sometimes reactive on the lead or when people walk past the house, especially the postie!

Both dogs sleep in their own crates at night. Molly is an early riser with a small bladder, she’ll need a quick morning wee but then she’s happy to snuggle back into bed or make herself a cozy nest on the couch.

They’re both very loved, and their personalities balance each other out perfectly.

We're looking for a reliable solo person or couple to care for our Boston Terriers, Murphy and Molly, over the Easter period while we visit family.

Our home is in East Ipswich, right on the edge of the Scenic Rim a beautiful region known for its walking trails, local farms, and charming country cafes. Nearby attractions include Summer Land Camel Farm, the Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Café, the Workshops Rail Museum, Ipswich Art Gallery, and the Nature Centre in Queens Park.

We’re also conveniently located close to local shops, cafés, pubs, and amenities honestly, just about anything you need is within a 6-minute drive! It’s a great base for both exploring and relaxing. Read more...
