About this house sitting position in Fortitude Valley

Hi lovely folk,

My two cats are seeking cuddles for around 3 weeks in July. My cats are very affectionate and ideally I would like a couple but will consider a single person who is not out of the house all day long - as they do get lonely and they both love laps and cuddles.

I have a large 2 bed +study apartment in Fortitude Valley very close to the RNA Showground (100m walk), Fortitude Valley and King Street restaurants, walking distance from Howard Smith Wharf and very close to Fortitude Valley station and bus routes. The spare room has a queen bed, and reverse cycle aircon / heating.

Complex has a pool, sauna and spa. The apartment has an outdoor terrace to relax on. I have pot plants on the terrace that require watering if it hasn’t been raining.

Aircon and ceiling fans in every room, and the apartment gets nice airflow and breezes. Garage space for one standard car (height 2m max). Can also provide street permit but no guarantees of a space in the street.

The fur-children:
I have two cats who are very much my fur children. They are indoor cats with balcony access, the older cat “NookNook” is 5 years and the younger one “Kitten” is about 4 years old.

“Alex and I loved our stay in Fortitude Valley with Kitten and Nookie! We loved getting to know the unique personalities of each fur girl (particularly Kitten’s love of clinging to humans like a koala/baby on the hip and Nook Nook’s fascination with her toys). We felt so safe and comfortable in Sarah’s apartment. We were located close to the CBD, night life, and daily essentials. We loved spending time with the fur children on the patio with the greenery, fairy lights, and hammock, listening to the bustle of the city and reading a good book. Sarah left her place super clean and tidy for us, and left clear instructions which made caring for her home and pets easy. Sarah was warm and welcoming. We highly recommend grabbing any opportunity to house/pet sit for Sarah and her fur girls! Thank you for having us! :)”
