About this house sitting position in Morningside

My husband and I love to travel and are looking for a caring, responsible house sitter (or couple) to look after our beautiful home and much-loved doggo while we’re away.

We live in Morningside, one of Brisbane’s most sought-after inner-city suburbs, just 4–5km from the CBD. Our home is a fully renovated 1930s double-storey Queenslander that blends classic character with modern comforts. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind, with multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, a sparkling pool, media room, and plenty of cosy spots to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Everything you could need is close by, including Woolworths and Coles (less than 1km away), public transport, cafés, restaurants, beautiful parks and walking trails. It’s the perfect base for enjoying Brisbane while caring for a very special companion.

Our furry baby is a beautiful and affectionate 4-year-old Labradoodle who loves being close to her people. While she can be a little shy and cautious when meeting someone new, once she gets to know and trust you, she’ll become your shadow and very best friend. Whether she’s curled up beside you on the bed, snoozing nearby while you work, following you around the house, or joining you for a stroll, she simply loves being part of whatever you’re doing.

Because she takes a little time to warm up to new people, we would greatly appreciate arranging a meet-and-greet prior to our trip. This gives her the opportunity to become familiar with you in advance and helps ensure a smooth and comfortable transition while we’re away.

We’re ideally seeking an experienced house and pet sitter (or couple) with at least 12 months of house-sitting experience, excellent references, and a genuine love of dogs. A current police check (completed within the last 12 months) would be highly regarded.
