About this house sitting position in Goodwood

Three bedroom classic 50s weatherboard with a cat, veggie garden and 4 chickens needing a responsible and courteous housesitter whilst we visit family overseas.

Our place is no mansion but we’ve worked hard to update insulation and draught proof to make a warm and comfy home (including installing a new roof and insulated cladding). All day sun hits the large living room windows which overlook the backyard. A large practical kitchen is great for cooking. One bedroom has been converted into a home office and has a large monitor available for use and fibre to home NBN internet connection makes for seamless video streaming for Teams meetings.

Tony the cat would love to sit on your lap as much as possible. He needs to be fed and litter tray cleaned daily. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who enjoys exploring the yard when I’m gardening but is always inside at night. The chooks, Betty, Bertha, Ethel and Martha free range in the backyard and require food and water provided daily and egg collection (yours to enjoy). The Veggie garden and some establishing native gardens will need to be watered daily depending on rainfall.
