About this house sitting position in Montagu Bay

I’m looking for a friendly, non-smoking retired couple to look after (and love) Dougal, my two year old mini-retriever and my home while I am in the UK. Dougal is a bit like a child in some ways and has taken to sleeping on my bed so you would need to be happy about that as I can’t see him breaking that habit! Ironically , he only started to do this when previous house sitters were here. He likes walks and chasing balls and loves to go to the local dog park - and sleeps a lot!! He’s my best mate and my biggest concern when I travel.
My home looks across the Derwent River to Hobart (5 minutes away) and has a perfect view of Kunanyi (Mt Wellington). I am five minutes from the local shopping centre with supermarkets etc. and there is a bus stop about 50m up the street. There are paths and trails to walk nearby and Rosny Hill to climb if so desired.
My house has four bedrooms but two are used for other things , mainly storage while trying to declutter to save my children the effort later! The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower.
I’m looking for someone who is happy to water the garden if there isn’t any rain and as it’s not a small garden it would help if you enjoy gardens. I hope and look forward to repeating my last (first ever) experience with housesitters, who were wonderful. Read more...
