About this house sitting position in Googong

4 bedroom home located on 6 acres approx. 35 minutes from Canberra. I'm an active wildlife rescuer and have our regular, released kangaroos and wombats that appear nightly for their dinner; along with 4 dogs, chickens, peacocks and I'm also a rabbit breeder so I have a numerous beautiful buns.

Ultimately I'm looking for someone who will love the menagerie and home like it's their own. It takes me an approx. 1/2 hour morning and evening to tend to the fur and feather crew to give you a guide of what it would entail. Beyond feeding/watering/walking/loving daily (oh and keeping rogue wombats out of the garage at night where the food is kept!) there isn't a lot of anything else needed except to relax in this beautiful, sanctuary like surrounds.

My block is beautiful with an abundance of bird life - I sit on the fringe of the bush. I'm in a small estate with very community spirited neighbours.

Canberra is a hop, skip away and has it's own abundance of things to do and see so for someone staying, it's a lovely way to get to know our beautiful Nations' capital.

Apart from feeding and loving there are no special requirements with the menagerie. I also have a lovely natural garden for which to sit and ponder life.....and just soak it all in! "Solace" is the apt name of my property..... Read more...
