About this house sitting position in Gowrie

We live in a lovely, comfortable house with amazing views of the Brindabellas. Our home has two bedrooms and a study, a main bathroom with separate toilet and an ensuite off the main bedroom, a lounge/dining room and a family room. The house has undergone significant renovations since 2023 including a new front deck, stunning new kitchen, new ensuite and new flooring throughout. We have also installed double glazed windows to add an another layer to the energy efficiency of our home. We will be travelling to Sydney for family Christmas gatherings and need someone to look after our home and our beautiful Border Collies. Finn, a Black & white boy who will be 2.7 yrs and Jasper his half brother, a red & white boy who will be 7 months in December. They are both clever, funny, affectionate and lovely boys who get on very well together. They love people and like to play and go for walks. As Jasper is still young, they can only be left alone for up to 3 hours, so we would prefer a sitter who will be around most of the time. A couple or single person without pets would be ideal. As there is only one guest bedroom, this sit is not suitable for a family. The boys need a daily walk of 40 minutes. Most of the gardens have an automatic watering system but some hand watering of pot plants is required every few days.
The house is surrounded by great walking tracks and there is a fabulous coffee shop, pharmacy, grocery shop and hairdressers only a two minute walk from the house. Read more...
