About this house sitting position in GUILDFORD

Our old style 1950s home is located in the historic town of Guildford 12km from Perth city. Home to shops, pubs, restaurants, seasonal markets, and also a known gateway to the Swan Valley, Guildford is a popular place for visitors.

A few minutes drive or a 350m walk to the train station will get you to Midland gate shopping centre in 2 stops or Perth city in 30 mins.

Guildford is bordered by the Helena River and Swan River with all the green riverside activities also.
Antique Cars, Chocolate factory, Wildlife parks, Nature trails, there is much to do nearby and the Swan Valley visitors centre within walking distance will help guide you.

Our comfortable home with a medium sized back yard accommodates our family and 1 dog (Lab x Kelpie x Golden Retriever). 'Astro', our dog loves everyone. This is not an exaggeration. He is well socialised, loved by our friends and neighbours and rarely barks.

We would require sitter(s) to feed Astro and well as accomodate a 2-3 walks/week depending on the weather. Mostly he would benefit from someone that is around in the evenings to keep him company while we are away.

Be warned though Astro is still a leash puller despite our 'no pulll harness'. He is a medium sized dog. He has good recall off-leash, listens to commands and just a great natured dog. Astro is low maintenance but as a typical retriever, he will seek you out for affection incessantly until you give 'the' command.

You will have a comfortable room with a queen sized bed with aircon/heating etc.
