About this house sitting position in Hawthorne

Large two-storey home looking after an elderly cat and dog with a great personality. We have a pool, a large gourmet kitchen, huge dining area, outdoor deck and rooftop terrace. The cat has some health issues requiring medications added her food. Otherwise, she sleeps most of the day but loves pats and chin scratches sitting beside you on the couch. We have a 9 year old Standard Schnauzer who love lots of attention, long walks and snuggles (and jumping up on the couch beside you). Highly food motivated and (mostly) well behaved. Bulimba Hawthorne has walking access to the river, Oxford St and Hawthorne Road with an abundance of coffee shops, restaurants and things to do.

“Loved our housesit in Hawthorne at Jennifer and Tom’s home with the gorgeous girls Ziggy and Tzara. Both were easy to care for. Ziggy is clearly well-trained and is a very loving dog. Tzara was also lovely but was happy to keep to herself. Loved our walks twice a day with Ziggy along the riverfront to Bulimba and up into the village. Such a fabulous area and excellent connections to the city/waterfront via the ferry. Jennifer and Tom provided detailed notes on how to care for the pets. Their home is very comfortable, has a well-stocked kitchen and has a small rooftop garden where you can enjoy a sundowner beer or wine. We kept in regular contact with the family whilst they were away, providing updates and photos. Communication was excellent throughout. Thanks Jen and Tom, we would be delighted to come again. I had a fantastic time in your home and surroundings and did many things on my scooter including lots of ferry rides to and from Brizzi and everywhere else. We are tremendously grateful to Philip for taking exceptional care of our home and our elderly cat. Philip was an excellent communicator, reassuring us that all was well at home. Philip's professionalism and experience made the process of handover easy (and less stressful) knowing that he'd house sat many times so knew the ropes. He also took care of a few requests for us, that made life much easier for when we returned and was meticulous in making sure our home was secure. I would recommend Philip to house sit anytime (and hopefully we will be able to have him back again one day soon). Thank you.
