Our home
Our house sits in a tranquil, quiet neighbourhood in Highbury, with beautiful views across the hills — a peaceful spot to relax between walks. It’s a comfortable, family-friendly space with a good-sized yard for the dogs to stretch their legs and burn off energy, essential for two active GSPs. It’s a warm, lived-in home, and we want our sitter to feel just as comfortable here as we do.

Meet Luna (5)
Luna is a sweet, loyal girl who loves being close to her people. She does experience some anxiety and can be leash reactive around other dogs, so she needs a confident, calm handler who understands GSPs and won’t be rattled by a reactive moment. With the right approach, she’s affectionate and easy to bond with — she just needs patience and consistency.

Meet Bailey (2)
Bailey is our easygoing, confident girl. She has great recall and is happy being off-leash, so she’s a bit more low-maintenance on walks. She’s playful, energetic (as GSPs are!), and loves having a job to do.

Daily needs
Both girls need daily walks and plenty of mental stimulation — GSPs are smart, high-energy dogs who thrive with a job to do. They’re not used to being left alone for long stretches, so a sitter who’s home for much of the day is ideal. Both are crate trained and sleep inside in their crates at night.

What we’re looking for
Someone with GSP experience or a solid understanding of high-energy sporting breeds, who’s comfortable managing a reactive dog with patience rather than frustration. No small dogs or cats in the home, please, as we want to keep things simple and stress-free for everyone. Read more...
