Pet & Home Sitter Wanted – Cozy Melbourne Home + Affectionate Cat.

I'm heading off on a holiday adventure through Darwin to escape Melbourne's winter and am looking for a caring, responsible person to stay in my home and look after my beautiful 2-year-old cat while I'm away.

My home is a comfortable and welcoming two-bedroom home that feels much more like a house, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Features include:

• A private yard perfect for enjoying a winter BBQ or evening fire
• Heating throughout the home
• Plenty of natural light
• A large TV with access to Netflix and Kayo
• A collection of artwork throughout the house, creating a warm and creative atmosphere
• Board games and other games to enjoy during your stay
• A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home, including quality cookware, appliances, and cooking essentials
• A stocked pantry, and you're welcome to help yourself to pantry staples and everyday basics during your stay
• A quiet, comfortable space to relax and make yourself at home

The location is also a great base for enjoying Melbourne's bayside suburbs. Highett's main street, with its cafés, restaurants, shops, and train station, is only a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. And if a refreshing winter ocean dip is your thing, beautiful Sandringham Beach is just a short drive away.

The real star of the show is Sengo, my gorgeous 2-year-old male cat. His name means "joy" in Central Africa, and it suits him perfectly. He's affectionate, playful, curious, and loves human company. Whether it's a cuddle on the couch, a game, or simply hanging out while you're reading or watching TV, Sengo enjoys being around people and brings a lot of warmth and personality to the home.

This would suit someone who enjoys a peaceful home environment, appreciates a cosy winter retreat, and genuinely loves spending time with cats. While I'm off chasing warmer weather in Darwin, you'll have a comfortable home to enjoy, complete with entertainment, outdoor space, a great kitchen, and a wonderful feline companion.
