Caring House & Pet Sitter required from July 31 2026 – October 3 2026
HOLDER CANBERRA

We are looking for a reliable, caring and house-proud person(s) to look after our home, beloved pets, and small inside and outside gardens, while we are away on a nine-week adventure.

Our home is comfortable and well maintained, and we would like someone here, who will enjoy staying in our home and care for it as if it were their own.
You will also be caring for our 17 year old rag doll cat and our 14 year old Italian Greyhound.

Our Pets

The cat:
Mia, the rage doll is a temperamental girl who loves the sound of her own voice. She talks a lot!! She is 17 years old. She sometimes likes a cuddle.

The Dog:
Stella our Iggy is fun loving but old (14 years), so she loves her bed and sometimes loves a walk. She is very bouncy and likes to play when/if she gets out of bed.

Our Home
Our home is easy to maintain as the lower level is all living and the upper level (four steps) is bedrooms, bathroom and second lounge room.

The Garden
Like our home, our garden is low maintenance. We have some plants on both our front and back verandas that will require care and watering.

Mowing of both front and back yard lawns will be necessary from time to time, depending on the weather and growth.

Inside we have much loved plants in the living areas which will require love, care and watering.

Responsibilities include:

Feeding and caring for our pets
Keeping our home tidy and secure
Watering and maintaining indoor and outdoor gardens Collecting mail and keeping an eye on our property
Lawn mowing

We are hoping to find someone who loves animals, is responsible, trustworthy and house proud.

In return you will enjoy a comfortable stay in our home with modern amenities, loving pets for company in a great central area of Canberra.
