About this house sitting position in Jeir

We have 1 dog, 3 chickens, 1 cat, a bearded dragon and sheep/lambs in the paddock.

We require someone to care for the animals (dog, bearded dragon, cat and chooks) when we are away.

Our dog and cat sleep outside. Dog stays outside and cat spends most of her time outside. Cat comes inside to eat/be fed and sometimes likes cuddles/grooming.

Bearded dragon is taken out of glass tank to be fed live crickets and can stay in tank for eating vegetables. It’s good for him to have some time out of tank and in direct sunlight, but if you are not comfortable with lizards this is not essential.

Sheep/lambs will mainly look after themselves, however water troughs will need checking each day and contacting us or a neighbour if problems arise.

The Murrumbateman wineries are nearby to explore and enjoy as well as walking trails within Yass Valley and Canberra. Wee Jasper cave is not too far.

“Housesitting for Paul & Zoe and family was a pleasure. It was our first housesit so we were a little nervous. Paul put us at ease by providing very clear instructions to us prior to leaving which included a tour of the property noting everything we needed to know. During the sit Paul & Zoe were both very responsive and helpful. The home itself is very comfortable, secure, with strong wifi and everything works as it should. The animals were very easy to care for and we bonded with Rocky the Bearded Dragon and the three girls (chooks). We would happily return for further sits at Coolabah. Thank you Zoe & Paul.
