About this house sitting position in Maleny

I live in a renovated 3 bedroom farmhouse with large modern kitchen and open plan lounge / dining with hardwood floors. The house is situated on an acre of land within walking distance to Maleny town or a short 2 minute drive. We have many cafe's and restaurants, music venues, 2 supermarkets and a health food store and basically anything you need. We are also only 30 minutes drive to the beaches of Caloundra and everything the coast has to offer. The town itself is picturesque with the views to the Glasshouse Mountains a short walk from home.

My beautiful samoyed dogs are eager to please and all get along well. They sleep a lot and only need feeding twice a day (although they will pretend it's not enough lol). They love nothing more than to run around the yard doing zoomies and if you feel up to it, taking one on a walk each day would totally make their day. Disclaimer: they shed, sometimes a lot. We have vacuums.

As for the guinea pigs, they are easy - just give them your veggie scraps at dinner and boost their hay daily and they are happy. The chickens want to go outside and forage whenever they can and you are welcome to eat their fresh eggs. Daily collection means you won't forget to check their food and water when you're out there. They put themselves to bed and you just need to close the pen when it gets dark. Not much else to do except enjoy yourself :)

I'm looking for a mature aged person/s who don't smoke or drink, who will be around most of the time. I work from home so the animals are used to having their humans around. Being a farm house, we are on tank water so conservation is important when it's dry. There is no yard work to do but if you like to garden, you are welcome to potter and tinker however you like!

A family member works away (FIFO) and lives in the granny flat. When he is not at work, he will be around to mow the grass and answer any questions you have or help out with anything. He uses the inside toilet and laundry when he is home. He is very respectful and always knocks before entering. We can put up a curtain if you feel more comfortable.
