About this house sitting position in Beerwah

We have a spacious, open plan home (however please note that we only have one guest room available with a queen bed - so please only a single person or a couple should apply) on 1/4 acre in a very quiet part of town with wonderful neighbours.

Living with us is a female 7 yr old Dachshund who lives outside on the large patio and 16 Heritage Hens.

We have Extensive Gardens, a large Veggie Patch and a small Fruit Orchid, and lots of Pot Plants, which all need appropriate care. The main reason we are looking for house sitter is because of our gardens and pot plants which are extremely important to us. We can easily find someone to care for our dog, Bella and the neighbours don't mind looking after the hens, but there is a lot of watering to do especially when it doesn't rain. Please note that it is not unusual for us to spend up to 2-3 hours in our garden every day.

So we are looking for -

1. Someone who is a passionate and experienced gardener, some one who knows how to care for both indoor and outdoor plants. If this is you, we'd love to hear from you.

2. Someone who naturally loves both dogs and back yard chickens and who has experience in caring for their needs.

3. Someone who loves the quite life, is reliable, respectful of anothers property, honest, values a neat and tidy environment and has good communication skills. Someone who will care for our place as near to the way that we do.

We are in our late 60s, still working, very house proud, non smokers, non drinkers, non party people who treasure a quiet and clean environment. We keep up with the care and maintenance of our home and gardens, so our place is always kept super neat, tidy and well presented.

We do require a face to face meeting with our chosen House Sitter a day or two before we hand over, so we can show them in detail what needs to be done in our home, for our animals, pot plants and gardens.
